They serve the best coffee in Griffith, and their fruit bowl and poached eggs on toast with avocado are a must-try—simple, but done to perfection (plus they have Tabasco for the spicy lovers). The ambiance is great, whether you’re sitting inside or enjoying the courtyard. Plenty of off-street parking and excellent customer service every time. Highly recommended! ”

The rainbow trout cooked perfectly soft and not fishy at all, after adding zest of lemon, it was super nice. Pork collar seasoned perfectly and tender, served with creamy potato puree. “ We visited with some friends from out of town for breakfast, it was divine. The pancakes are out of this world, big and fluffy. Everyone loved their coffee and cold brew tea I had was so refreshing. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with bright, cheerful and attentive staff. Everything was fantastic. ”

“ Cozy setting for fantastic local food. I had some delicious bread to start, which was nice and crispy on the crust, yet soft and chewy on the inside. There were some delicious vegetarian options including vegetarian ravioli, which was a great starter. I had the pork for mains and it was quite succulent. The desserts options were excellent and go down very well with a coffee to finish. Great experience overall. ”

“ Staff at the Gem Hotel told us Limone Dining don’t do breakfast, but they do, and quite well in fact. My only criticism being they don’t warm their plates, which allows perfectly scrambled eggs and sourdough ($16) to cool quicker than you can eat them. You’ll find the restaurant on Griffith’s main drag, Banna Avenue. The nameplate is small, but the sign for their partner farm, Piccolo Family Farm, is big enough to catch your attention. The interior is constructed almost totally from recycled materials salvaged from the local area. The interior space houses a produce store showcasing the region’s wares, from olive oil to almonds. Baked goods, including sourdough, sit by the coffee machine. There’s croissants, muffins, and a few more Italian leaning items, like sweet ricotta sfogliatelle with neat pastry layers dusted in icing sugar. Coffee, in a strong flat white ($6/regular) and a cappuccino ($5.50/regular) is both good enough and sizeable enough. The breakfast menu is basic, you can have your eggs one of three ways, and everything else is an add-on. Bacon ($4.50) is meaty and smoky; spinach ($4.50) is iron-rich and green; locally grown braised borlotti beans ($4.50) are unique and tasty; though it’s the lightly pickled fried mushrooms ($4.50) that i enjoy most on this regional breakfast plate. ”
